I’ve been wanting to do a painting of ‘magnolias’ for a while, they are such a beautiful structured flower to paint and remind me of the time of year my children were born. The house opposite had the most amazing magnolia tree and it was in full bloom in glorious sunshine when I bought them home from the hospital. I’m happy to say I now have one in my own garden.
